COVID-19 update: Four new deaths

MOHAVE COUNY – Late Monday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 40 new COVID-19 confirmed cases. Seventeen cases are in the Lake Havasu City service area. Six cases are in the Kingman service area. There are a total of 17 new confirmed cases in the Bullhead City area and that includes two deaths not previously reported, as well as two more Bullhead City area deaths from previous cases.

Of the four Bullhead City area deaths, one is 40-49 and one is 70-79 from previously reported cases.  The two new confirmed death cases in the Bullhead City area, (not reported before, and part of the new 40 total,) are a 70-79 person and an individual, who is 80-89.

Of the 15 remaining Bullhead City area cases, 12 of them remain under investigation. Two are 20-29; three are 30-39; four are 50-59; one is 60-69; one is 70-79; one is 80-89. The remaining three are all recovering at home and linked to another confirmed case. One is 20-29; one is 30-39; one is 50-59.

Of the 17 Lake Havasu City service area cases, 12 cases remain under investigation. One is 20-29; three are 30-39; two are 40-49; two are 50-59; three are 60-69; one is 80-89. The remaining five cases are recovering at home and are linked to another confirmed case. One is 20-29; three are 50-59; one is 70-79.

Of the six confirmed cases in the Kingman service area, three remain under investigation. One is 0-10; one is 20-29; one is 40-49. The final three confirmed cases in the Kingman service area are recovering at home and are linked to another case. Two are 20-29 and one is 50-59.  

There are now 354 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including 13 deaths, 340 in Kingman, with a total of 44 deaths there, and 33 cases in “North County,” formerly referred to as “Other”(composed of a number of smaller Mohave County communities,)  and 709 in Bullhead City, including 30 deaths.  There are now a total of 87 deaths in the county from the disease. Total positive cases, 1,436.

**The Average age of all Mohave County positive cases is now 49.2 years old.

***The Average age of deaths frpm COVID-19 in Mohave County is now 78.6.
