COVID-19 update: 49 new cases, one death

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff has been notified of 49 new confirmed COVID-19 cases. These are counts from Wednesday afternoon.

There is also one death. It is a 50-59 year age range person in the Bullhead City service area.

Of the 49 new confirmed cases, 28 are in the Bullhead City service area. There are 14 cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. There are six cases in the Kingman service area and one case in the North County service area.

Of the 28 confirmed cases in the Bullhead City service area, all of them are cases that remain under investigation. Five are 11-19; six are 20-29; four are 30-39; four are 40-49 ;four are 50-59; four are 60-69; one is 70-79.

Of the 14 Lake Havasu City area cases, all remain under investigation. Three are 11-19; four are 20-29; two are 30-39; one is 40-49; two are 50-59; one is 60-69; one is 80-89.

Of the six Kingman area cases, five remain under investigation. Two are 50-59; two are 60-69; one is 70-79. The final Kingman area case is a 70-79 person, who is recovering at home and is linked to another confirmed case.

The North County cases is an 11-19 person and the case remains under investigation.

There are now1,437 positive cases in Bullhead City, including 67 deaths.

There are now 979 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including 30 deaths.

There are 613 positive confirmed cases in Kingman, including 54 deaths.

There are 65 cases in “North County,” formerly referred to as “Other” (composed of a number of smaller Mohave County communities,) There are 0 deaths.

There are a total of 151 deaths in the county from the disease.
