COVID-19 update: 34 new cases, one death

MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Tuesday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 34 new confirmed COVID-19 cases.

One of those 34 cases is a death not previously reported  It was an 80-89 year age range person in the Kingman area. There was one other death, a 70-79 individual from a previously reported case in the Bullhead City area.

Of the 33 remaining new confirmed cases, 13 are in the Lake Havasu City service area. Ten cases are in the Bullhead City service area. There are 8 new confirmed cases in the Kingman service area. There are 2 in the North County service area.

Of the 13 Lake Havasu City area cases, 8 are recovering at home and are linked to another case. Two are 20-29; three are 30-39; three are 40-49. The final 5 Lake Havasu City area cases remain under investigation.  One is 11-19; two are 30-39; one is 70-79; one is 80-89.

Of the 10 new cases in the Bullhead City area, all are recovering at home and remain under investigation. One is 11-19; three are 20-29; one is 30-39; one is 40-49; two is 50-59; one is 60-69; one is 70-79.

Of the 8 cases in the Kingman area, 7 are under investigation. One is 11-19; two are 30-39; one is 40-49; two are 50-59; one is 60-69. The final Kingman area case is an 80-89 person who is recovering at home and is linked to another case.

The final two cases are in the North County area. Both cases are under investigation. One is 30-39 and one is 40-49.

There are now1,298 positive cases in Bullhead City, including 59 deaths.

There are now 917 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including 24 deaths.

There are 546 in Kingman, with a total of 51 deaths.

There are 58 cases in “North County,” formerly referred to as “Other” (composed of a number of smaller Mohave County communities,) 

There are a total of 134 deaths in the county from the disease.

Total positive cases, 2,819.
