Couple’s argument ends in vehicular assault

BULLHEAD CITY – A vehicular assault attempt prompted the arrest of a Laughlin woman who allegedly used her Toyota Camry to try to chase down her boyfriend in Bullhead City. The victim reportedly exited the vehicle after arguing with the woman just after midnight on June 10.

Bullhead City police department spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said officers responded at 12:15 a.m. to the 15 hundred block of Paige Drive where the had Camry crashed into a home.  She said the vehicle caused other damage involving two fences, a carport, travel trailer and a pickup truck.

Fromelt said the boyfriend suffered a minor hand injury when struck by the Camry. 

The suspect, Sharee Olivares, 31, reportedly ran from the scene but was arrested when located at Hancock Road and Ramar Road. She was charged with aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, criminal damage and leaving the scene of an accident.
