County virus cases reach 54

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (April 17, 2020) – The Mohave County Health Department MCDPH-Nursing staff was notified early this evening of two positive COVID-19 cases, one each in the Kingman and Lake Havasu City service areas. Both individuals are in the 20-44 age range, in isolation and recovering at home. Our staff will soon be initiating the contact investigation; until the investigation is conducted, it is unknown at this time if the case may be travel-related, epidemiologically-linked to another confirmed case, or the result of community spread.

This new case brings to 54 the total positives in Mohave County. There are now 19 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including two earlier deaths, 30 in Kingman, and 5 in Bullhead City.
