MOHAVE COUNTY – The citizens of Mohave County can expect the following activity from Mohave County Public Works during the week of March 23, 2020:
Arizona Strip: Road grading on 1) Mt. Trumbull Loop and 2) Mt. Dellenbaugh Rd. in Colorado City.
Kingman: Road grading on 1) Calle Alamo, 2) Jane Ave. and 3) Parker St. and pot hole repairs and right-of-way repairs in the Butler area. Also, crews will be removing debris from culverts along Stockton Hill Rd.
Hackberry: Road grading on Antares Rd. from Mille 22 working south.
Wikieup: Road grading on Bogles Ranch Rd. Yucca: Road grading on 1) Signal Rd. from Mile 1 to Mile 12, 2) Alamo Rd. from Mile 22 to Mile 28 and 3) Knox Dr. Hualapai Mountain Area: Road grading on Silver Springs Rd. and crack sealing on DW Ranch Rd.
Golden Valley: Road grading on SE: 1) Shipp Dr. from Colorado Rd. to Teddy Roosevelt Rd. and 2) Redwall Dr. from Colorado Rd. to Teddy Roosevelt Rd. SW: Bolsa Dr. from Egar Rd. to Gilbert Rd. NE: 1) Kelvin Rd. from Hwy. 68 to Chino Dr., 2) Kayenta Rd. from Chino Dr. to end of maintenance and 3) Kayenta Rd. from Hwy. 68 to end of maintenance. NW: 1) Agua Fria Dr. from Egar Rd. to Estrella Rd. and 2) Dome Rd. from Agua Fria Dr. to end of maintenance. S: Blading road shoulders on Oatman Hwy. from Mile 45 to Mile 48. Work on Shinarump Dr. between Aztec Rd. and Colorado Rd. remains ongoing. Perco Rock has been contracted by Mohave County to harden the low-water crossings, improve ditches/drainage, construct subgrade and place road base; this process will take approximately two months. The road section will be closed during this period.
Chloride: 1) Old Chloride Rd. from Tuckahoe Rd. to Chloride Rd., 2) Tuckahoe Rd. from Chloride Rd. to Gibson Ln., and 3) Gibson Ln. from Tuckahoe Rd. to end of maintenance. Dolan Springs: Road grading on 1) Seventeenth St. from Pierce Ferry Rd. to Merry Dr., 2) Seventeenth St. from Pierce Ferry Rd. to Kitmit Dr. and 3) Laurel Rd. from Seventeenth St. to Nineteenth St.
Meadview: Pulling road shoulders on Pierce Ferry Rd. from Mile 33 to park boundary. Also pot hole/fog line repairs on Pierce Ferry Rd. from Diamond Bar Rd. to park boundary.
Mohave Valley: Storm repair on Route 1 from Mile 6 to Mile 1 and throughout Fort Mohave. Shoulder work in the Golden Shores area of Topock and pot hole repairs in the Desert Lakes area of Fort Mohave.
The County’s first priority is public safety. Storm repairs to maintained roads will be prioritized accordingly.
