Council discusses Site Six dock replacement

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A paving project will be taking place at Mesquite and Havasu Avenue. A bid for it will be given in the amount of $2,913,037 to replace the water system for a section of Mesquite Avenue as well as pavement of the road.  

There will also be a construction contract to replace Site Six Fishing Dock. Bellingham Marine Industries, Inc along with Lake Havasu City, will replace the dock in the amount of $1,557,138. Development code amendments will be happening for the Lake Havasu development code to align with state law adjustments. This will include a window for administration to finish zoning applications. 

A new vice mayor has been chosen. Council Member Michelle Lin will be the next vice mayor nominated by Council Member Jim Dolan.
