BULLHEAD CITY – The City of Bullhead City will begin charging seasonal parking fees at Community Park starting Saturday, May 9, as summer activity along the Colorado River increases.
Each year, thousands of visitors travel to Bullhead City to enjoy the river, beaches, parks, and recreation opportunities throughout the community. Seasonal parking fees collected at Community Park help support the maintenance and improvement of City parks and amenities.
Bullhead City residents may continue to access Community Park and its beaches year-round at no charge by showing a valid driver’s license to the park attendant upon entry.
Residents of Fort Mohave, Mohave Valley, Laughlin, and Needles are eligible to purchase a 2026 summer season pass for $35. Proof of residency is required, and park attendants will assist eligible residents with the purchase process.
Non-residents will be charged a $25 parking fee for one-time entry into Community Park. Visitors are encouraged to bring all needed supplies before entering the park, as the entry fee does not allow re-entry throughout the day.
While visiting Community Park, guests are encouraged to stop by the Bullhead Belle for riverside dining or visit the River Shop for outdoor and river essentials.
“All funds generated through seasonal parking fees are reinvested directly back into City parks and amenities,” said Bullhead City Public Information Officer Mackenzie Covert. “These funds help maintain the parks, improve amenities, and ensure Community Park remains a clean, welcoming destination for residents and visitors throughout the busy summer season.”
Community Park is one of Bullhead City’s most visited destinations during the summer months, offering river access, beaches, picnic areas, walking paths, playgrounds, sports facilities, and special events throughout the season.
