BULLHEAD CITY — The Bullhead City Fire Department announces an exciting opportunity for community members to make a meaningful impact by joining the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).

CERT is a dedicated volunteer group that plays an essential role in supporting the fire department and the community during emergencies, public safety initiatives, and special events. The program is designed to empower residents to assist during critical situations, such as natural disasters and other emergencies, while also supporting year-round community safety efforts.

About the CERT Program

The Bullhead City CERT team participates in a variety of important activities, including:

* Assisting Mohave County when activated for natural disasters or other emergencies

* Supporting firefighters with rehabilitation services during structure fires

* Participating in fire prevention and public education efforts, including the annual Community Risk Reduction Safety Fair

* Installing smoke alarms and Knox Boxes in residences to enhance home safety

* Assisting with community events such as National Night Out and other fire department initiatives

Why Volunteer with CERT?
