KINGMAN — On Tuesday, April 22, the Colorado River Corvette Club (CRCC) participated in Earth Day by planting trees in Kingman. Since 2016, CRCC has honored Earth Day with trees donated by the club and individual members to the parks in Bullhead City, Kingman, and Lake Havasu City.

This year, to honor Earth Day, club members gathered at Centennial Park in Kingman to “shovel some dirt” around eight Mondell pine trees already placed in the ground by the City of Kingman Parks Employees.

Dennis Wagner, the CRCC Club Arborist, was critical to the event’s success, as well as Mike Meersman, City of Kingman Director of Parks.

The day concluded when some of the group’s members tried out the park’s new zipline.  Attendees said it was a beautiful spring day, perfect for planting trees and beautifying the communities.
