COLORADO CITY – Mohave Community College Colorado City Campus held its Student Recognition Awards Ceremony Tuesday, April 29 to celebrate students for their outstanding achievements inside and outside of the classroom. Students were celebrated among family, friends and employees. Students received awards for academic achievement, student club involvement and more.
Dean’s List
Recognizing the outstanding academic achievements of students enrolled in 12 or more credits for the 2024-2025 Fall Semester while maintaining a 3.5 or higher GPA:

Outstanding Achievement Awards
Outstanding Achievement awards are given to students who are at all stages of their educational goals. This award recognizes students who have excelled academically in their studies. Nominations are made by faculty and staff:

In recognition of graduates with a 3.2 GPA or higher who have excelled in areas of scholarship, leadership, citizenship, and service to MCC:

All-Arizona Academic Team
The Arizona Board of Regents offers tuition scholarships to top Arizona community college transfer students for academic excellence and community service. Nominated by their college, students apply through Phi Theta Kappa. The scholarship covers up to 10 semesters or 60 credits of in-state tuition:

The Anthony Dominguez Student Leader of the Year Award
This award recognizes a student who embodies an appreciation for diversity and mutual respect. The award is named after MCC student Anthony Dominguez, who was named Vice President of Student Activities Council for the 2022-2023 year. Dominguez engaged fearlessly, lived authentically, and was planning to build and create a better future for the community. He lost his life tragically in a car accident on August 13, 2022:
