City of Kingman Debuts New ZipKrooz Track Ride at Centennial Park

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman has announced the installation of a brand-new attraction at Centennial Park: the ZipKrooz Track Ride. Designed with inclusivity and fun in mind, this kid-friendly zip line offers a safe and engaging experience for children, teens, and even adults.

Unlike traditional high-altitude zip lines, the ZipKrooz is a ground-level track system that allows riders to glide smoothly across a guided rail. With options tailored for various age groups and abilities, the installation includes two tracks: one for older children and adults, and a second track specifically designed for toddlers and individuals with special needs, ensuring everyone gets the chance to participate in the fun.

This project was made possible through General Fund Capital Improvement Funds and was initially recommended by the City’s Parks and Recreation Commission before receiving approval from the Kingman City Council. The City of Kingman Parks Department oversaw all aspects of the installation, including excavation, concrete work, and the installation of the required safety surface.

The ZipKrooz is now open to the public and can be found within the playground area at Centennial Park. Families are encouraged to stop by and check out this exciting new feature that further enhances the park’s commitment to safe, accessible, and engaging recreation for all Kingman residents.
