City Core Paving and Water Main Reconstruction Project

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City Public Works Department, Engineering Division announces details for the upcoming City Core Paving and Water Main Reconstruction Project, scheduled to begin next Monday, April 22, and continue through October 22, 2024. Traffic Control devices and slowed construction zones are in place for the duration of the project at various times within the downtown area, to provide safe routes for motorists and contractors and allow for access to all businesses.

During this timeframe, work is conducted on the following streets within the downtown area:

  • McCulloch Blvd; from the London Bridge to Smoketree Ave.
  • Swanson Ave; from SR95 to Smoketree Ave.
  • Rivera Ave; from Swanson Ave. to Palo Verde Blvd. S.

The City appreciates everyone’s patience and cooperation as we work safely to complete this important project timely! Motorists traveling in the area can expect temporary delays due to construction, and are asked to drive carefully through work zones and follow all traffic control signage.

For more information or questions regarding this work, please contact the Engineering Division at (928) 453-6336.
