BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – Chaparral Golf Course will temporarily close from October 1 through November 10, for seasonal overseeding and maintenance.
The golf course is scheduled to reopen on Wednesday, November 11, Veterans Day.
The seasonal closure will allow maintenance crews to complete overseeding and other maintenance work in preparation for the upcoming winter golf season.
While the golf course is closed, Chaparral’s Restaurant and Lounge will remain open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Residents, visitors and regular Chaparral guests are encouraged to continue visiting the Restaurant welcoming atmosphere throughout the maintenance period.
“We may be taking a break from golf, but Chaparral Restaurant is still open,” said Ann Roberts, Marketplace General Manager – Chaparral Golf Course & Restaurant. “We’d love for everyone to come on down, enjoy a meal or a drink, and spend some time with us while we get the course ready for the winter season. We’re looking forward to welcoming our golfers back on Veterans Day, and especially to celebrating our veterans.”
The City of Bullhead City will also recognize and celebrate local veterans on Veterans Day with free golf for veterans on Wednesday, November 11, when the golf course reopens.
Veterans will have to provide verification of veteran status to participate and are encouraged to call 928-758-3939 in advance to reserve a tee time or for additional information. Chaparral Golf Course & Restaurant is located at 1260 Mohave Drive in Bullhead City.
