Changes coming to Kingman EZ Recycling Program

Starting the week of June 24, the green recycling bins located around the city will be removed, centralizing recycling drop off to one location: Kingman Public Works, 3700 East Andy Devine Avenue. Beginning July 1, the new drop off hours will be: 7a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to noon Saturday and Sunday.

Constant load contamination has caused the city to make these changes to the Kingman EZ Recycling program. Public works members will now be on-hand to help people drop off the correct items for recycling.

Acceptable items are: glass bottles, plastics #1 & #2 only, aluminum cans, paper and newspapers (no magazines or junk mail), cardboard, steel, aluminum, and tin cans.

For any questions regarding the changes, please call Sanitation Superintendent Ed Tapia at 928-692-3102.
