Certified Nurse Practitioner Brittany Schlarman, FNP-C joins Kingman Urology

KINGMAN – Brittany Schlarman, MSN, APRN-CNP, FNP-C has joined the care team at Kingman Urology. As a board-certified nurse practitioner, Schlarman provides care for patients with urological conditions such as overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, kidney, bladder, or ureteral stones, and prostate cancer.

Schlarman began her career in healthcare as a registered nurse in 2012. In 2017, she graduated from Kaplan University with a Master of Science degree in nursing and has worked as a nurse practitioner since 2018. Her background includes ICU, surgical care, wound care, and inpatient hospitalist care. She has extensive experience in safe surgical procedures and perioperative care management.

“It’s important to me that patients are active participants in their care,” she said of her patient-centered approach. She believes involving patients in decisions about their care leads to more successful outcomes.

Schlarman joined Kingman Regional Medical Center because the health system’s values appealed to her. She says the people have been warm and welcoming, and she is excited to get involved with the Kingman community.
