Catholic Charities feeding those in need

Volunteers smile at their respective stations during the Thanksgiving meal distribution.

BULLHEAD CITY – Catholic Charities Community Services, BHHS Legacy Foundation, and Food for Families recently partnered to distribute 600 Thanksgiving meal baskets for families in need in Bullhead City. The baskets provided families with a complete Thanksgiving dinner, including turkey, gravy, canned corn, green beans, cranberries, potatoes, stuffing, rolls and pie.

On Monday, November 13 from 9 a.m. to noon, staff and volunteers assembled the baskets, with families receiving the baskets on Nov. 16.  

Food for Families staff and volunteers gather to assemble Thanksgiving meal kits for community members in need. 

For those facing food insecurity, a Thanksgiving Day meal was also served at the BHHS Legacy Foundation Christine Stamper Center for Help & Hope, operated by Catholic Charities. The shelter is located at 1594 N. Oatman Rd.
