Rita J. Burchfield, 63, of Golden Valley, Ariz., passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at KRMC Joan and Diana Hospice Home. Rita was born in Bloomington, Ind., on March 10, 1956 to Raymond E. and Freeda M. (Frye) Terrell. She graduated from Bloomington High School North in Bloomington, Ind., and served in the U.S. Navy until her honorable discharge in 1976. She married Terry L. Burchfield on July 4, 1999. They celebrated 20 years of marriage. Rita enjoyed baking with her grandchildren, couponing, sewing, and her dachshunds. Rita was preceded in death by her parents. Rita is survived by her…

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Chloride Cemetery. The family contact is her daughter Linda Jo Shaffer. Arrangements were made by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home.
