Virginia Faye Payne, nee Schwartzmann (Barnes, McBeath), passed away on October 18, 2019, peacefully at home with her husband of 39 years, Douglas H. Payne Sr., at her bedside. Virginia was born September 27, 1939 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Virginia was the oldest of five children born to Jon R. Schwartzmann and C. Marian Cobb who both predeceased her. She was raised in St. Louis, Missouri, then Tucson, Ariz., where she graduated from high school before attending USC in Los Angeles, Calif. Patrick McGovern passed away Aug. 4, 2019. He was 74 years old. Pat was born in Kingman, and was a life-long resident of Mohave County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Helen McGovern, and sisters Eva Campbell and Lola Osburn.
