Virginia Faye Payne, nee Schwartzmann (Barnes, McBeath), passed away on October 18, 2019, peacefully at home with her husband of 39 years, Douglas H. Payne Sr., at her bedside. Virginia was born September 27, 1939 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Virginia was the oldest of five children born to Jon R. Schwartzmann and C. Marian Cobb who both predeceased her. She was raised in St. Louis, Missouri, then Tucson, Ariz., where she graduated from high school before attending USC in Los Angeles, Calif. Rita J. Burchfield, 63, of Golden Valley, Ariz., passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at KRMC Joan and Diana Hospice Home. Rita was born in Bloomington, Ind., on March 10, 1956 to Raymond E. and Freeda M. (Frye) Terrell. She graduated from Bloomington High School North in Bloomington, Ind., and served in the U.S. Navy until her honorable discharge in 1976. She married Terry L. Burchfield on July 4, 1999.
