Havasu DJs liven up weekend night life

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Some of the best DJs are located right here in Lake Havasu City. Scott Clinton, also known as “DJ King,”embraced his love of music since he was a child. Originally from Southern California, DJ King remembers that his family members either sang or played instruments. 

He began DJing in the 1990s and has been going strong ever since.  His favorite style of music ranges from pop, country, and dance. Two other DJS worth exploring are Matt (Matty B) and Lisa Bristlim.

County Fair set for September

KINGMAN – The Mohave County Fair will be held Thursday through Sunday, Sept. 12 – 15 at the county fairgrounds, 2600 Fairgrounds Blvd. Fair admission gates prices are $6 for veterans, first responders and seniors 65 and older with ID; $12 for adults; $6 for children ages five to 12; free for children four and under with an accompanying adult.

Expo hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Labor Day weekend welcomes live music entertainment

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Kick off your Labor Day weekend while checking out some of Lake Havasu’s live music performances. This year, many of the local venues will have a variety of entertainers with music styles ranging from, rock, country, and mellow tunes.
