KINGMAN – Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the top nominees for the 2024 Andy Awards, honoring those who have made exceptional contributions to the betterment of the Kingman community. These awards celebrate the legacy of Andy Devine, a true hometown legend, and recognize outstanding individuals, businesses, and organizations across multiple categories.

Below are the top nominees in each category.

KINGMAN – The Kingman Police Department took reports of rumors of a threat of a school shooting targeting Kingman Middle School. Kingman Police School Resource Officers conducted a thorough investigation to determine the source of the rumors and determined that the threat is not credible. KINGMAN – People from all over the county unite for the annual Mohave County Fair, a four-day-long event, throng with lights and thrilling rides for all ages. Mohave County citizens travel from hours away to visit the Mohave County Fairgrounds in Kingman from Thursday, September 12 to Sunday, September 15. Booths from organizations and businesses throughout the county were scattered outside and inside the center, and murals of artwork from Mohave County artists were hung on the center’s walls.
