Mingle-Jingle Christmas Bazaar and Street of Lights winners announced

KINGMAN – Businesses and Kingman communities gathered for one of the biggest downtown Kingman events of the year. An estimated 15,000 residents enjoyed beautiful Christmas lights and floats, food trucks, booths, and so much more on Saturday, December 9.For the past couple of years, Everything Kingman, Kingman’s Mobile app, has been holding a People’s Choice voting poll for the best floats and lights of the Street of Lights Music Festival.

Christmas concert set for Dec. 21

KINGMAN – The Mohave Community Orchestra and Mohave Community Choir will be having their annual Christmas concert on December 21, at 3 p.m. at College Park Community Center at 1990 Jagerson Ave.  Doors will be open at 2:30 p.m. and tickets are by donation. Eggs are available — but pricier — as the holiday baking season begins

PHOENIX – Egg prices are rising once more as a lingering outbreak of bird flu coincides with the high demand of the holiday baking season.

But prices are still far from the recent peak they reached almost two years ago. And the American Egg Board, a trade group, says egg shortages at grocery stores have been isolated and temporary so far.

“Those are being rapidly corrected, sometimes within a day,” said Emily Metz, the Egg Board’s president and chief executive officer.

The average price for a dozen eggs in U.S. cities was $3.37 in October, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
