Six young women are vying for the titles of Andy Devine Pro Rodeo Royalty Queen and Teen Queen. Horse women between the ages of 12 and 23 who are passionate about their communities, agriculture, the western way of life and rodeo are competing in categories of horsemanship, interview and written test in order for the judges to select the next reigning queens.
KINGMAN – Easter eggs aren’t just for kids! For the Luv of Paws Domestic Animal Rescue & Sanctuary will host their 12th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday, April 5 from noon to 4 p.m. The event will be held at the Kingman Petco, across the street from Kingman Regional Medical Center.

LAKE HAVASU CITY – For the past two years, owner Kyle Young of Lake Havasu’s Sand 2 Soil has been helping local planters of fruit trees and gardening needs. Originally from Riverside California, Young moved to Havasu at 16, and his grandfather was an avid planter of corn, strawberries, tomatoes, and various fruit trees.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – Minutes after probation and incarceration was ordered, a Lake Havasu City teenager implored a Mohave County Superior Court judge to reverse course on the issue of jail time.
“I’m not going to be able to do a lot of stuff,” Christopher Ward, 18, complained at his March 24 sentencing hearing.
KINGMAN – Mohave County Democrats will be hosting a sign-making event to prepare for the upcoming No Kings Rally. All supplies will be provided to make signs, and the sign-making will take place on Friday, March 27 from 4 to 6 p.m. at 212B N. Fifth St. All are welcome.
