MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (May 1, 2020) The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified this afternoon of two COVID-19 related deaths and eight positive cases. Both deaths were in previously identified confirmed cases. The two deaths occurred in the Kingman service area. Both are linked to another case. One is in the 75-85 year range and the other is 86+. Regarding the 8 cases, 7 are in the Kingman service area and 1 is in the Lake Havasu area. The investigation is pending on the Havasu case. KINGMAN – In following Governor Ducey’s Executive Order (2020-33) the amended “Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected,” the City of Kingman is continuing the current closures of all city buildings (except the Municipal Courthouse and Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course) to all public access until May 11, however we are still conducting business remotely, through mail, email, online platforms, and telephone. No special event permits will be issued for the month of May. This does not implement a curfew in the City of Kingman. This does, however, continue to enforce the closures of dine-in restaurants, salons, barber shops, spas, etc. Some retail establishments may begin opening…
