Dr. Diane Bartholomew, vice president of academic affairs for Missouri Valley College, has announced the Fall 2019 Dean’s List. The requirements for the Dean’s List are a 3.3 or higher grade point average; at least 12 graded hours for the semester and no “D,” “F,” or “Incomplete” grades for the semester. Noah Babiak of Bullhead City has been named to the Dean’s list. Babiak is a Junior and is studying Criminal Justice.
KINGMAN – The public is invited to the Mohave Republican Forum (MRF) meeting on Wednesday, January 8, at 5:30 p.m. U.S. Senate candidate Daniel McCarthy and City of Kingman Census representative Sylvia Shaffer of the City of Kingman regarding the U.S. Census will be speaking and answering questions. MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College’s Kingman campus librarian, Erin Roper, has been accepted into the American Library Association Emerging Leaders program for 2020. The program is for librarians who have no more than five years of experience in the field. KINGMAN – The ArtHub and Kingman Center for the Arts will present a community art show titled “Arizona” at the ArtHub, 402 E. Beale Street. Dates run January 7 through February 15. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The show features art created by local artists from Mohave County.
