Burn ban lifted in Kingman

KINGMAN -In line with the Mohave County Board of Supervisors and the Bureau of Land Management, the City of Kingman has lifted the citywide burn ban. Citizens who were issued burn permits prior to the burn ban placed July 23, 2019 can now use the permit. Unique fundraiser hopes to raise $10,000 for Salvation Army

Raising $10,000 for the Salvation Army and having a whole lot of fun is the goal of a unique fundraising event coordinated by the Kingman and Golden Valley Association of Realtors. U.S. Air Force Airman Peyton Speed graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
