Road work continues through Christmas week in Bullhead City

Firefighters remind residents to watch what you heat!

BULLHEAD CITY – On Wednesday, December 18, several of Bullhead City Fire Department (BHCFD) crews responded to a singlewide mobile home fire in the 2200 block of Coronado Dr. Firefighters confirmed that all occupants had safely evacuated the home, began an offensive attack and were able to knock down the blaze quickly. BHCFD Captain Campbell advised that a closed bedroom door kept the fire from spreading to additional areas in the home and no injuries were reported. The Red Cross assisted the occupants. KINGMAN – The construction crew for the Andy Devine Avenue ADA improvements project has taken down the traffic control along Andy Devine Ave. from Fourth Street to Third St. during the holiday season. There will be no lane restrictions or street closures along this section through January 5, 2020. Construction will begin again after the holidays, starting Monday, January 6, 2020, at 6:00 a.m. The travelling public can expect lane restrictions along Andy Devine Ave. from Fourth St. to Second St. for approximately two weeks.
