GOLDEN VALLEY – The body of a Golden Valley boy was discovered Thursday, about 2.5 hours after he was reported missing. The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office said it appears that nine-year-old Alexander Lee was fatally injured in an accident involving a Yamaha 600 quad. The Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) treats detecting and stopping fraud with paramount importance and reminds taxpayers that tax filing season is a time to be aware of identity thieves looking for ways to commit tax fraud. The department points to phishing schemes, card-skimming devices, unsecure Wi-Fi networks, data breaches, computer viruses, unsafe smartphone apps, and hacking email accounts as ways identities are stolen. Gates Avenue improvement update: Lane restrictions, closures in effect

KINGMAN – Construction for the Gates Avenue street improvement project will begin Friday, January 31, from 6:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. when Gates Ave. will be closed to local traffic only, between Western Ave. and Golf Drive. Chloride gearing up for St. Patrick’s Day celebration

CHLORIDE – Chloride is gearing up for their annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Saturday, March 14. Events include gunfights, a bull whip show, parade, vendors, bed & bath race, car show, and much more. Vendors of all kinds, including food vendors, are welcome on a first come basis. OATMAN – A number of merchants in the historic mining town of Oatman oppose a western flavored enterprise proposed by an Aztec, New Mexico businessman.
