KINGMAN – Pioneer Country Events will be hosting a Gun & Knife, Coins & Collectibles Show on Saturday and Sunday, March 14 and 15 at Mohave County Fairgrounds, 2600 Fairgrounds Blvd. Hours are Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Food vendors will be on site. The show is open to the public with adult admission $7 per day or $10 for a two-day pass. Children ages 13 and under are free with a paying adult. KINGMAN – Saturday, March 7, The Kingman Powerhouse Kiwanis hosted its scholarship dinner at the Club for Youth from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. This St. Patrick’s Day Celebration helped to raise money to support scholarships for graduating seniors at $20 a ticket, along with a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City is seeking applications from residents interested in serving on the Bullhead Area Transit System Commission (“BATS”). The BATS Commission makes recommendations to the Bullhead City Council regarding the development and maintenance of a public transportation system for the city.  The BATS Commission meets quarterly on the first Monday of February, May, August, and November; and holds special meetings as required. There is no residency requirement to be eligible to serve on the BATS Commission. Three seats on the BATS Commission are currently available. KINGMAN – The formula for funding Kingman’s Interstate 40 Rancho Santa Fe interchange project has evolved. Two of the three funding sources remain the same, but the third has changed according to Mayor Jen Miles, City Manager Ron Foggin and city spokeswoman Colleen Haines. $20 million from the state remains available for the next four years and the city is committed to providing several million dollars more.
