Lingenfelter selected as Procurement Director

KINGMAN – Kingman Vice Mayor Travis Lingenfelter has been selected for the Mohave County Procurement Director Position. Lingenfelter’s proposed hiring at an annual salary of $102,000 will be considered during the Board of Supervisors meeting next Monday. Lingenfelter was offered the position Monday after he and another applicant finalist from Florida were interviewed by a screening panel comprised largely of county department heads. Lingenfelter is declining comment before the Board considers his hiring next week. 7.5 million people visited LMNRA in 2019

Lake Mead National Recreation Area welcomed 7.5 million recreation visitors to the park in 2019. It is the sixth most visited park in the entire National Park Service. An additional 7.6 million visitors traveled along main state highways and interstates in the park, including I-11. The park saw spikes in visitation at its Henderson, North Las Vegas, Overton and Bullhead City entry points, as well as an increase in visitation at Hemenway Harbor near Boulder City.
