Watson alone favored return, salary MOHAVE COUNTY – The hiring of Kingman Vice Mayor Travis Lingenfelter as Mohave County Procurement Director was torpedoed during Monday’s meeting of the Board of Supervisors. County Manager Mike Hendrix’ recommendation to start Lingenfelter April 6 at an annual salary of $102,000 was voted down 4-1. Only Supervisor Gary Watson favored returning Lingenfelter to county employment. KINGMAN – With the growing public health concern regarding COVID-19, the City of Kingman is following recommended guidelines from the Arizona Department of Health Services and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) by limiting public gatherings, and encouraging the public to practice social distancing. The Citizens Academy scheduled to start this week on March 18, is postponed. The city will announce a new start date, pending the status of the suggested social distancing period.

KINGMAN – Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) has implemented visiting restrictions to help prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and protect the health and safety of patients, their families, staff, and our community. Effective immediately, the new visitor restrictions affect both the KRMC Main Campus and KRMC Hualapai Mountain Campus.
