BULLHEAD CITY – For the second time in a week, a local school board will hold its monthly meeting via videoconferencing.  Thursday night’s governing board meeting of the Bullhead City Elementary School District will be conducted by videoconference due to COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions.  The April 16 meeting will be livestreamed on YouTube and accessible to the public.  Call to the public comments will be accepted in advance. LAKE HAVASU CITY – As high unemployment continues due to the current worldwide health crisis, one popular tourist destination in western Arizona is battling food insecurity. In Lake Havasu City, the local convention and visitors bureau, is teaming with the Lake Havasu Hospitality Association (LHAA), representing the city’s hotels, restaurants, RV park and campgrounds, and rental services, to offer meal vouchers to hundreds of unemployed hospitality employees who have been financially affected by COVID-19.
