Bullhead City to close beaches on weekends through September

BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City Mayor Tom Brady issued a proclamation yesterday closing down all city beaches and boat launches on weekends. The proclamation declares that all city beaches, boat launches and associated parks will be closed for the remainder of the summer on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to slow the spread of COVID-19. MOHAVE COUNTY – An avalanche of early voting is beginning today throughout Mohave County. Well more than half of the county’s 127,000 registered voters have requested mail ballots to vote in front of the upcoming August 4 primary election. “Right now we have over 74,000 early ballot requests,” Recorder Kristi Turley said. They’ll be mailed out en masse starting today, though properly registered voters can request them up until July 24. Kingman moving forward with industrial, financial development plans

Kingman Crossing, Rancho Santa Fe interchanges, airport development in the works KINGMAN – Various preliminary approvals came Tuesday for three major projects that Kingman officials hope improve transportation and stimulate economic development that will increase tax base and brings jobs for the future. Two of the initiatives gaining early stage thumbs up from the Kingman city council are proposed Interstate-40 interchanges, situated less than two miles apart.
