COVID-19 update: 111 new cases, six deaths

MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Monday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 111 new confirmed COVID-19 cases. Of the 111 cases, 41 are in the Bullhead City service area. There are also 41 new confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. There are 29 new confirmed cases in the Kingman service area. There are six deaths also reported today and all of them are in the Bullhead City area. One of them, a 60-69 year age range person, is one of the new cases and not previously reported. LAKE HAVASU CITY – First Baptist Church Pastor Luis Hernandez of Lake Havasu City has been named the 2020 First Things First La Paz/Mohave Region Champion for Young Children. The award is given to local champions who actively volunteer their time to raise public awareness of the importance of early childhood development and health.
