MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County’s COVID-19 emergency declaration has been rescinded. The Board of Supervisors voted to lift the declaration Monday, after the Department of Public Health reported that county coronavirus case counts are up 70% since Sept. Dist. 2 Sup. Hildy Angius believes recovery rates are more important than case counts. Twelve dog trainers, representing 12 states, are vying for the title of 2020 Greatmats National Dog Trainer of the Year. For Arizona, Marsha Tonkinson of K9 Paws Behavior Dog Training in Golden Valley is vying for the award. The award is part of Greatmats’ 6th Annual National Award Series, which honors instructors, coaches and trainers who have made a positive impact on their clients and communities. MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County mask requirements appear to have eased substantially following approval of two motions during Thursday’s Board of Supervisors meeting. Citizens are no longer required to wear face cover when in many county buildings, but rules vary for portions of the county workforce. Results of the separate board votes are murky when you muddle through the special session involving local management of the coronavirus pandemic. Tim has over 34 years of fire service experience in fire and emergency services.  His expertise, knowledge, and reputation in the fire service is well documented as he has held numerous positions from Firefighter to Fire Chief.
