Western Avenue lane closure-

KINGMAN –The closure of Western Avenue will begin Monday, February 22, and continue through Friday, February 26. The street closure will be from Riata Valley Road to Airway Avenue. Access to business and residents will remain open. The project to install a new water transmission main between Stockton Hill Road to the Main Tanks on Anson Smith Road began January 4, and is scheduled to be completed May 16. City Manager Ron Foggin said recall petitions that Steve Robinson submitted Tuesday afternoon for the Stehly recall contained 992 unverified signatures. UniSource requests voluntary natural gas conservation through Sunday

UniSource Energy Services is asking natural gas customers to conserve natural gas through the weekend to help ease a supply shortage in Texas and other states. Severe winter weather has driven up demand for natural gas and contributed to power outages affecting millions of residents. Although UniSource expects to maintain a sufficient supply of natural gas to serve customers, it is joining other utilities in asking customers for voluntary energy conservation to support system reliability throughout the southwestern United States.
