One killed in fiery crash

BULLHEAD CITY – One person was fatally injured in a fiery, three-vehicle collision in Bullhead City. Police responded at 1:17 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6 to the intersection of Highway 95 and Retail Way. Sgt. KINGMAN – The City of Kingman’s Beale Street Scape and Improvement Project has completed phase one of this multi stage project.  Construction now moves down Beale Street, to the next block, with construction activities expected on phase two continuing for the next few months. “We are pleased with the progression of the project. LAKE HAVASU CITY – One Lake Havasu City firefighter was hurt after responding to a residential structure fire on Saturday, Oct. 7. Crews were dispatched at about 3:38 p.m. after dispatch received multiple calls of black smoke and fire coming from a home in the 3000 block of Saratoga Ave. “The first arriving fire company reported a working fire with smoke and flames coming from the roof of the residence,” a press release said. ?“There were no occupants at home at the time of the fire. Controlled burn scheduled in Bullhead City

BULLHEAD CITY – On Wednesday, October 11, the Bullhead City Fire Department will conduct a controlled burn in Heritage Trail Park between Highway 95 and the Colorado River in Northern Bullhead City, AZ. Residents can expect to see large plumes of smoke rising from the area during the burn, which is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. and wrap up near the noon hour. However, crews will be assigned to stay and monitor the burn area into the evening’s hour.
