LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu’s Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) is bringing the Veterans Day Parade back for the Veterans Day holiday. The VFW is a nonprofit organization made up of active veterans and reserve forces.  VFW was created to provide veterans with VA claims, separation benefits, mental wellness, financial grants, and student veteran support.  Veterans Day is a federal holiday that honors military veterans of the United States Armed Forces. The celebration was created for honorable discharges and accompanies other holidays such as Remembrance Day and Armistice Day which are celebrated in other countries. LAKE HAVASU CITY – Rebecca Lindstrom is a kinesiology lecturer for the College of Health Solutions at ASU Lake Havasu.
