Fatal crash victim identified

BULLHEAD CITY – Police have released the name of the local resident who was fatally injured in an Oct. 25 traffic accident in Bullhead City. Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said Bernard Medina, 37, was ejected when the Chevrolet Blazer he was driving left the Bullhead Parkway just south of Arroyo Vista Drive and tumbled down an embankment. Fromelt said Medina’s fiance and their 3-year-old son were not hurt in the rollover and escaped the vehicle before it caught fire.

Traffic fatal under investigation

BULLHEAD CITY – A traffic fatality is under investigation in Bullhead City. Police Department spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said the single vehicle rollover occurred on the Bullhead Parkway near Arroyo Vista Drive at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26. Fromelt said the 37-year-old man was ejected when the vehicle he was driving rolled down an embankment. He was pronounced dead at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center. “His fiancé and their three-year-old son were uninjured and were able to get out of the vehicle before it caught on fire, Fromelt said. “They were transported to WARMC as a precautionary measure.” Fromelt said…

BLM prescribed burning planned in the Hualapai Mountains 

KINGMAN – Fire managers from the Bureau of Land Management Colorado River District are planning to conduct prescribed burning in the Hualapai Mountains, 20 to 25 miles southeast of Kingman, AZ this fall and winter. Specific treatment locations include Blue Tank, Bull, and Hibernia canyons.
