Donation Drive for Shelter Animals at High Desert Hyundai

KINGMAN – Friends of Mohave County Animal Shelter is holding a donation drive at High Desert Hyundai, 4180 Stockton Hill Rd, from February 14 –through March 6. Hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cupboards are bare at the Mohave County Animal Shelter and they need community support to help stock up. Transient fatality in Bullhead City

BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City Police report a transient was lying in the roadway at Highway 95 and Thunderstruck when he was fatally injured by a passing vehicle. Officers responded to the incident at about 11:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7. Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said the 29-year-old driver of a 2017 Chevrolet Sonic was unable to avoid striking Anthony Lockwood. She said Lockwood died of his injuries following transport to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center.

City seeks volunteers for Desert Clean-Up

BULLHEAD CITY, AZ., February 7, 2024 – The City of Bullhead City is seeking volunteers to join a desert clean-up event being organized through a joint effort by The City, Golden Vertex, Republic Services, Mohave County’s ERACE program, and the Bureau of Land Management.
