Lucas Henderson of Lake Havasu City, a Trine University student, earned Dean’s List recognition for the Spring 2024 semester. Henderson is majoring in Civil Engineering. To earn Dean’s List honors, Trine University students must complete a minimum of 12 hours and have a grade point average of 3.500-3.749.
BULLHEAD CITY – The Silver Copper Crossing, a bridge connecting Laughlin, Nev., and Bullhead City, is scheduled to open to the public on Friday, June 7. The opening will include festivities starting at 9 a.m. with a car show, live music, and free coffee and doughnuts. At 10 a.m., there will be an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a car parade with classic and unique cars at 11 a.m. The celebration will continue with food trucks and music from the Laughlin Easy Street Band at the Anderson Auto Group Field House.
BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City School District students have the opportunity to get a 2024 Paris Olympics head start during summer camp on the Bullhead City Middle School campus. The free program for students currently in grades four through eight begins May 28. BCSD’s summer camp offerings will focus on STEAM curriculum – science, technology, engineering, art and math. Interventional tutoring is also available for students who need remedial help before the new school year starts. KINGMAN – On Tuesday, May 14 the local Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Mohave County Lodge #16, Kingman, held a ceremony to re-dedicate the memorial that was previously donated by the chapter to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

This year the Old Miners’ Day festivities are on Saturday, June 8.
