Westbound I-40 in Kingman to close intermittently overnight
KINGMAN – Motorists on westbound Interstate 40 in Kingman should plan ahead for overnight restrictions and full closures of up to 30 minutes the nights of March 10, 13, 17 and 20.
Green is Chloride’s color on St. Patrick’s Day
CHLORIDE – Green is the color of the day when Chloride celebrates St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday, March 15. Chloride annually honors the Irish miners who worked in the dozens of mines around this 1860’s historic townsite.
Local women honored in observance of National Women’s History Month
KINGMAN – Ten local women were honored Sunday for outstanding contributions to the community at the 41st Annual Women Making History awards, coinciding with National Women’s History Month.
Logo chosen for Mohave College
MOHAVE COUNTY – The community has spoken! By an overwhelming 65 percent to 35 percent, students, community members and College employees selected a new institutional logo to represent Mohave College, as it rebrands from Mohave Community College.
