Come and experience “Christmas in July” with our community of “elves” at Kingman Farmers Market. There will be gifts galore, sweet treats, and incredible edibles all from our fabulous, folksy family to yours. In addition to a wide variety of Christmas offerings we will have lots of produce, everything from apricots to zucchini; beets to tomatoes. Expect to visit vendors who specialize in jams, jellies and honey and others who make beautiful things for your home and yard. One makes knives another writes books and turns hardwood into writing instruments. A third makes enchanting toys and puzzles. Our very creative family…

KINGMAN – Bring a picnic, your lawn chairs, lots of friends and join Sounds of Kingman’s Concert in the Park featuring Tosha & David on Sunday, July 28 at 4:00 p.m. The concert will be held in Metcalfe Park (corner of Beale and Grandview in downtown Kingman). As usual, the concerts are free. This concert is sponsored by Diana’s Wine Bar.

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Mohave County Democratic Central Committee (MCDCC) will host its monthly business meeting on Wednesday, July 17 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Casa Serrano, 150 Swanson Ave. The meeting is free and open to people of all ages.

BOULDER CITY, Nevada – Lake Mead National Recreation Area is calling on all photographers and every social media extraordinaire to showcase their love for Lake Mead and Lake Mohave as part of a 2019 photo contest. The winner will receive a 2020 Lake Mead National Recreation Area annual pass, courtesy of the Lake Mead Circle, the park’s non-profit partner. The winning photo will also appear as the featured image on the pass. Visitors can submit entries by uploading their photo to Instagram with the hashtag #LAKEPhotoContest19 and tagging the park @lakemeadnps anytime from July 15, 2019 to Aug. 31, 2019….

Most residents believe the Mohave County Sheriff’s K-9 Program is funded by the state and the county, and that can no further from the truth. The K-9 Program receives no funding from the State of Arizona, the county, or the Sheriff’s Office. It operates solely on donations from businesses and concerned citizens.
