PHOENIX – Bettors in Arizona wagered approximately $454 million on sports in June of 2024, according to a new report by the Arizona Department of Gaming. This represents an approximate 15.5% increase when compared to June of 2023. The state collected approximately $3.15 million in privilege fees in the month.

Presenting during the Aug. 20 City Council meeting, Finance Director Tina Moline enthusiastically endorsed use of the Granicus SmartGov Permitting, Licensing and Planning software program.
