MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community Collegeand the ALICE Training Institute have teamed up to bring ALICE Instructor Certification Training to Kingman, on Thursday and Friday, February 20 and 21. The course will be held at the Mohave Community College, Neal Campus-Kingman, Building 200, Room 240. The cost for the two-day ALICE Instructor Certification Training is $695 per person.. City offices in Lake Havasu City, Kingman, and Bullhead City will be closed on Monday, January 20, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Police and Fire Department services are unaffected, however administrative offices are closed. All City offices resume normal schedules on Tuesday, January 21. Public assistance requested to identify bomb threat suspect

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Over the past six weeks, detectives with the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit investigated two incidents that occurred on November 25, 2019, at two retail stores located at 100 Retail Centre Blvd in Lake Havasu City. The two stores, Home Depot and PetSmart, received a letter from an unknown person that contained threatening statements of an explosive device being placed at the business unless a ransom was delivered to a specific location.
