Commercial laboratory confirms MOHAVE COUNTY (March 24, 2020) – The Mohave County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) has confirmed the first positive case of COVID-19, in the Lake Havasu City service area.  The individual, an adult, is not hospitalized at this time and is recovering at home. KINGMAN – As the City of Kingman navigates its way through the new territory of a worldwide pandemic, and how they best communicate important information to their residents, they have created a webpage with information that may be a “one-stop-shop” for community members. LAKE HAVASU CITY – In response to COVID-19 concerns, and based on discussions with and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the office of Governor Doug Ducey, Arizona Department of Health Services, and the Mohave County Public Health Department, all City events, programs, and activities are canceled, including the Vetsgiving Brunch scheduled for March 29, and the Coffee with the Mayor and City Manager scheduled Friday, April 3. County ramping up for impending contagion Mohave County is minimizing public access to county government buildings to promote public health during the pandemic that saw more than 230 Arizonans test positive for the COVID-19 virus by early Monday afternoon.
