KINGMAN – The City of Kingman is currently developing the budget for fiscal year 2021 and reducing expenditures for the current year. Upcoming budget work sessions will be held for the City Council to review and provide input on the proposed budget, before they are asked to approve it in June. Third virus-related death mars weekend

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Health Department MCDPH-Nursing staff was notified over the weekend of the death of one of the (previously identified) hospitalized COVID-19 positive cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. The individual was in the 65+ age range. This case was not epidemiologically-linked to another case, nor was it travel-related.  This death is among the 55 total positives in Mohave County. County virus cases reach 54

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (April 17, 2020) – The Mohave County Health Department MCDPH-Nursing staff was notified early this evening of two positive COVID-19 cases, one each in the Kingman and Lake Havasu City service areas. Both individuals are in the 20-44 age range, in isolation and recovering at home. Our staff will soon be initiating the contact investigation; until the investigation is conducted, it is unknown at this time if the case may be travel-related, epidemiologically-linked to another confirmed case, or the result of community spread.
