Kingman Regional Medical Center earns an “A” hospital safety grade 

KINGMAN – Kingman Regional Medical Center has earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit watchdog focused on patient safety. Leapfrog assigns an “A,” “B,” “C,” “D” or “F” grade to general hospitals across the country based on over 30 performance measures reflecting errors, accidents, injuries and infections, as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent them. KRMC is the only hospital in the region to earn an A from The Leapfrog Group.

Kingman Police awarded GOHS funding

KINGMAN – The Kingman Police Department has announced that it has been awarded a $34,502 grant from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety for DUI/Impaired Driving Enforcement. The grant funds will be used to pay for officer’s overtime costs for enhanced targeted DUI and impaired driving enforcement throughout the City of Kingman from October 1, 2024 – September 30, 2025. The goal of the Impaired Driving Program is to reduce alcohol and drug related driving fatalities and injuries through enforcement, education, and public awareness throughout the State of Arizona.
