Public Health Supervisor speaks at Rotary

Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club welcomed Kyle Walsh, Mohave County Department of Public Health Environmental Health Supervisor, as their December 20th speaker (shown with club president Karen Brown). Walsh addressed the club on obtaining health certificates for food service. Two-hour classes are conducted by the health department to obtain food service cards, which are valid for three years. MCC Kingman campus nursing students honored at ceremony

KINGMAN – Another class of registered nurses graduated from Mohave Community College. Fourteen graduates have each earned their Associates of Applied Science in Nursing degree and have taken the next step into their career. Nursing students recently had their pinning ceremony where they were accompanied by friends, family, staff and faculty. Shivam Bhakta, nursing staff, presented the Clinical Excellence Award to Noopur Patel. The award is given to the student that performed above and beyond the standard expectation of their roles in terms of commitment to education and learning. KINGMAN – The Tri-City Council will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 10 a.m. in Kingman at the Kingman Police Department Training Room, 2730 E. Andy Devine. There will be a presentation from Suddenlink and from the Center for the Future of Arizona as well as updates on the 2020 Census activities and a report from the Arizona Department of Transportation. The meeting is open to the public.
