BULLHEAD CITY – Ten Mohave Community College – Bullhead City campus registered nursing students completed their final semester, and each officially earned their Associate of Applied Science in Nursing degree. Nursing students had their pinning ceremony Tuesday. They were accompanied by friends, family, staff and faculty. June Weiss, MCC Director of Nursing, presented the Clinical Excellence Award to Jessie Walton. It started decades ago with names being scribbled on small pieces of paper, inserted into empty capsules and then deposited into a container from which the lucky few would be drawn, often by a youngster chosen from the crowd in the State Capitol Annex Building.
