KINGMAN – The Board of Supervisors is hosting a groundbreaking ceremony for the start of the renovation and expansion of the Mohave County Library – Kingman at 3269 North Burbank Street. Dignitaries will make brief remarks during the event scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. next Monday, November 25. Local contractor T.R. Orr is handling the $4.3-million project with completion scheduled in late 2020. The groundbreaking is open to the public.

In 2015, through a partnership with the Lake Havasu City Convention & Visitors Bureau, nine vortex energy sites were identified in and around Lake Havasu City. Beginning today, Friday, November 15, until 5:00 p.m., Desert Construction will close Beverly Avenue between Western Ave. and Fairfax Street to finish street improvements.
