Governor orders expanded health care reporting for COVID-19

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey yesterday, April 7, issued an Executive Order expanding healthcare reporting requirements on hospitals and health care providers to better track data needed to protect health care workers and patients and help slow the spread of COVID-19. There are now 23 positive COVID-19 cases in Mohave County. The latest is a Kingman service area individual, an adult in the 20-44 age range, who is currently isolated at home. The case is the result of “community spread.” Nurses will begin the contact investigation as soon as possible. Only three Mohave County races are contested in the August 4 primary election. The largest field of prospective candidates submitted nominating petitions to succeed retiring District 1 supervisor Gary Watson.
