MOHAVE COUNTY – The Arizona Department of Health Services is sending personnel to Mohave County to conduct COVID-19 testing at seven long term health care facilities. They will be testing patients and staff members for the coronavirus, according to Mohave County Department of Public Health Director Denise Burley. Burley told Mohave County Supervisors Monday that the state agency was also expected to send Personal Protective equipment if needed at those facilities. She also said the agency hoped to mobilize staff to backfill nursing homes where operations are impacted by the infection of its staff members. The Board voted in support…

City offices are closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.  Police and Fire Department services are unaffected, however administrative offices are closed. All City offices resume normal schedules on Tuesday, May 26. The Aquatic Center and Community Center is closed Saturday, May 23 through Monday, May 25. Trash and recycling schedules are not interrupted.

The City of Kingman is taking the necessary steps to continue to protect City Council members, its residents, and city team members to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the community. The Parks, Aquatics, Recreation and Golf (PARG) Commission will meet virtually this Wednesday, May 20, and the Planning and Zoning Commission is meeting in June, as well.
