BULLHEAD CITY – On Thursday, September 21, Mohave Electric Cooperative, Inc. held its Annual Meeting at the Anderson Auto Group Fieldhouse. The district and annual meetings were attended by 360 Cooperative members collectively, as well as many special guests. This year’s annual meeting attendees received a Ryobi, cordless, bucket-top misting fan kit and some lucky winners won great door prizes and power credits. The annual event, as mandated by the Cooperative’s bylaws, provided an opportunity to discuss several items from the past year as well as looking forward to the future. Kingman City Council vacancy applications now available

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman would like to announce that applications to fill the vacant position on the City Council are now available in the City Clerk’s office and on the City of Kingman website at: https://www.cityofkingman.gov/government/election-information. The Council will be accepting applications from interested persons until October 5, 2023. Potential appointees will be interviewed at a Special Council Meeting on October 11 with an official swearing in at the Regular Council Meeting on October 17. KINGMAN – Grady Miller has relocated to Kingman from Fountain Hills and he’ll spend his first day on the job as interim Kingman City Manager on Monday, Sept. 25. Miller assumes the leadership role at city hall following the Aug. 15 council decision to terminate the employment of former manager Ron Foggin. Miller is secured under contract between the City and Interim Public Management, a firm that maintains a talent bank that supplies retired administrators for short term roles in local government in communities across the state.
